A malignant tumor in the lower portion of the uterus (the womb) can be avoided by screening for PAP smears and vaccination against HPV. In between cycles and after sexual intercourse, signs include blood. There may also be a bad tasting white discharge and low back pain or lower abdominal pain. There could be no symptoms in some cases.
